Passion + Vision + Action = Success
One of the things I most enjoy is going to other coach's websites. Usually, I find something of value by reading over their thoughts, beliefs and ideas. Today when I went to Chris Wise's site, www.chriswise.com, I was definitely enlivened and engaged.
Is There a Formula for Living Your True Life Passions?
Well, having a formula as stated above simplifies the process greatly. Without its sister components, Vision and Action, Passion would soon fizzle out. Passion requires a constructive outlet in order for it to be sustained beyond a brief mental and emotional encounter within one's mind.
Any formula is tempered by:
- the events and/or experiences you attract into your life,
- how you handle those events and experiences,
- how well you stay focused on your Vision,
- how much perseverance you maintain, and
- how consistently you safeguard your Vision during the follow through or Action steps.
Your vision must be clear and of great value to you. Your why has to be powerful enough to keep you focused. Focus requires action steps or you soon become easily distracted.
How Valuable Are Distractions?
Distractions answer the following questions:
- Am I really committed to living the life passions I have decided to pursue?
- Do my life passions provide true value to me at the heart level?
- Did I miss something I am really passionate about when I went through The Passion TestTM process1 of discovering my top 5 life passions?
In recent months, I've shifted my life passions somewhat, not totally, and a new perspective has emerged in the process. My emphasis is on the word process, however, as it was not something that could be hurried through. It took time to evolve and shift.
As a result, I am much clearer about being focused on writing and on intending to inspire others through both my writing and teaching or speaking. I am more on purpose and greatly see the value of having gone through this process over the last thirteen months.
Living my true life passions with the above formula in mind ensures my greater success than without the formula. It enables me to stay clear about my passions and be focused in the now time frame. My action steps both lead to and enhance my successfully experiencing more joy and fulfillment in the process of living my true life passions.
Be totally willing to commit to your process of living your true life passions. Your success in doing so will provide you with more joy, fulfillment and true happiness.
